Spring is upon us and now is the time to grow the AMVETS
Riders organization by talking with veterans while we get out and ride with
pride! I ask that each AMVETS Riders
Chapter focus on helping veterans through various programs. I also challenge each Riders chapter and
Department to hold one poker run or event that contributes proceeds to help
support the national Riders’ program, Work Vessels for Veterans. WVFV is a program that helps wounded combat
veterans start and operate their own business.

at the spring NEC!
I encourage everyone in the AMVETS Family to take part in
the AMVETS Riders National Raffle.
Prizes include a Caribbean vacation, a seven-day cruise and several
great cash prizes! Also, please keep
safety in mind while you are riding all over this great nation. There are many drivers who are distracted by
cellphones, eating, etc. We have to take
care of ourselves by being aware of our surroundings while riding. Let's go out and make things happen! LRB
