Live from Capitol Hill: AMVETS to Join Speaker Pelosi for Vets' Roundtable

This afternoon, AMVETS will join House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and other top veterans' advocates for a roundtable discussion on veterans' issues.

During the roundtable, AMVETS National Deputy Legislative Director Christina Roof plans to address VA's inspector general report on the implementation of uniform mental health policies within the VA health care system.

Roof and AMVETS have been calling for a report on implementation since August and the latest IG report pointed toward continued deficiencies within VHA.
